These are the GTA V button inputs most likely to carry over, the same classic codes tracked in the WikiGTAVI PS5 cheats and Xbox cheats guides. Press them quickly during Story Mode gameplay (G2A News).
In GTA V, invincibility lasted five minutes (Vandal), and slow motion and slow motion aim could be entered up to three times for a stronger effect (IGN GTA 5 wiki). The raise and lower wanted level codes look almost the same, so check the last six directions before you enter them.
GTA 6 cheats for PC
There is no GTA 6 PC version yet. Rockstar has only confirmed PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for launch (WikiGTAVI PC cheats), and Take-Two has explained why PC comes later (IGN). Until then, these GTA V commands and phone numbers are the best reference. When the PC version does arrive, mods will likely go further than any cheat code, and GTASIXMODS is already building a hub for GTA 6 mods with new cars, maps, scripts and full overhauls.

In GTA V on PC, you pressed the ~ key (¬ on UK keyboards) to open the cheat console, typed the word and pressed Enter. The phone numbers worked on every platform, so console players can dial them too (Eurogamer).
GTA 6 vehicle spawn cheats to expect
14GTA V let you spawn 14 vehicles with a code, from a BMX to an attack helicopter. The Dodo, Duke O'Death and Kraken only worked through the PC console or the phone. The WikiGTAVI cheats hub tracks the same vehicles, but GTA 6 has its own car list, so expect these codes to change the most.

Step by step
How to enter cheats on PS5 and Xbox
- Load Story Mode. GTA V cheats only worked in single-player, and WikiGTAVI's PS5 guide expects the same for GTA 6.
- Enter the inputs quickly while you are in control of your character. Don't open the pause menu or the phone first.
- Try again a little faster if nothing happens. A missed button means starting the sequence from the beginning.
- Or dial the number from the phone column on the in-game phone. In GTA V, the numbers were the same on every platform (PC Gamer).
In GTA V, a cheat blocked trophies and achievements until you restarted the game (WikiGTAVI PS5 cheats). Finish any trophy runs before you try codes in GTA 6.

The cheat console opened with the key left of 1, and every command was a single word in capitals. There was no need to press anything else before typing.

What GTA 6 cheats to expect
Rockstar hasn't talked about cheats, but the Extended Look gameplay video from August 27, 2026 showed systems that could change how the classic codes behave (Red Bull). Like the WikiGTAVI cheats hub, we treat these as expectations, not confirmed features.
Game modes
Story Mode first
GTA 6 launches as a single-player game. GTA V cheats only worked in Story Mode, so expect the same split once an online mode arrives.
Phone
Phone codes, maybe
Every GTA V cheat had a phone number that worked on PC and consoles alike, and the WikiGTAVI PC guide lists them all. Rockstar hasn't said whether the GTA 6 phone keeps that feature.

Will GTA 6 have cheat codes?
Probably, but nothing is confirmed. Every main GTA game from GTA III to GTA V had cheat codes (GTA BOOM), and the WikiGTAVI cheats hub still lists GTA 6 codes as expected rather than official. The real answer arrives on November 19, 2026.
Are there any GTA 6 cheats right now?
No. The game is not out yet, so no GTA 6 code has been tested. The WikiGTAVI PS5 and Xbox guides list the codes expected to return, and every code on this page is labeled unconfirmed.
When will GTA 6 cheat codes be confirmed?
On launch day at the earliest. GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 (WikiGTAVI.com) and preloading starts on November 12 (BBC News). Codes can only be confirmed once people enter them in the finished game.
Will GTA 6 cheats work on PC?
Not yet, because there is no PC version. Rockstar has only confirmed PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for launch (WikiGTAVI PC cheats), and a GamesBeat report points to early 2027 (GameDaily). In GTA V, PC players typed cheats into a console opened with the ~ key.
Will cheats work in GTA 6 Online?
Probably not. Cheats never worked in GTA Online, and the WikiGTAVI PS5 guide lists every code as single-player only. Cheat software used online is a separate issue, and it breaks Rockstar's rules.
Do cheats disable trophies and achievements?
They did in GTA V, on both PlayStation and Xbox (Kotaku). The block only lasted until you restarted the game (WikiGTAVI PS5 cheats). Expect the same in GTA 6 until Rockstar says otherwise, so finish any trophy runs first.
Is there a GTA 6 money cheat?
No. GTA V never had a money cheat (Kotaku), and the WikiGTAVI PC guide expects GTA 6 to keep money earnable only through play. Treat any site or video promising one as a scam.
Will GTA 6 cost $200?
No. The Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 (GameSpot).
Is GTA 6 coming to PS4 or Xbox One?
No. GTA 6 is only announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (WikiGTAVI.com). There is no version for older consoles, so there will be no PS4 or Xbox One cheats.
